Job summary

Motus Toyota Kempton Park is seeking a Specialist: Technician - Service to ensure customer satisfaction through thorough servicing and safe repairs of motor vehicles. Reporting to the Manager: Service, you will perform tasks according to job cards and manufacturer specifications.

The role requires you to inspect and service mechanical systems, manage fluids, coordinate with the Service Advisor and Foreman, and train apprentices while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a minimum of Grade 12.
• Must have the Relevant Qualification.
• Must have a clear Criminal Record.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Own hand tools as per Toyota schedule.
• Good customer orientation.
• Good team player.

Responsibilities

• Repair and service vehicles according to job cards and manufacturer specifications.
• Inspect, replace and top-up vehicle system fluids.
• Delegate work to helpers/RSAs and check it.
• Keep the work area clean and tidy.
• Attend safety meetings and maintain tools in good order.
• Take care of the customer’s car and its contents.
• Report to Control if the vehicle will not be ready on time.
