Job summary

Motus Toyota Strydom Park is seeking a Specialist: Technician - Service to repair and service motor vehicles per job cards and Toyota specifications, reporting to the Manager: Service. Responsibilities include servicing and maintaining mechanical systems, inspecting and topping up fluids, ensuring accurate time tickets, and keeping the work area safe, tidy and well organized for apprentices and colleagues.

Requirements: Grade 12, relevant Toyota qualification, clear Criminal Record, a valid

Qualifications

Must have at least Grade 12.
Must have the relevant qualification.
Must have a clear Criminal Record.
Valid Driver’s License.
Own hand tools as per Toyota schedule.
Good customer orientation.
Good team player.

Responsibilities

Repair / service vehicles according to job cards and manufacturer specifications.
Service and maintain mechanical systems, components or sub-components.
Inspect, replace and top-up vehicle system fluids.
Report to Control any additional work required on the vehicle.
Report to Control if vehicle will not be ready on time.
Delegate work to helpers/RSAs and check it.
Interpret and implement technical service instruction data.
Take good care of customer’s car and contents.
Train on-the-job and control Apprentices.
Keep work area clean and tidy; keep tools in order.
