Job summary

ProDevelopment Group is seeking a Vault Controller in Mafikeng to manage vault operations and a small team. The role involves ensuring accurate cash vault balances and maintaining secure vault procedures to protect assets.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, overseeing vault security, and ensuring efficient day-to-day cash handling within a 24/7 security environment. Shift work and physical tasks are part of the job.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience required or preferred.
• Strong numeric skills and basic reconciliation experience.
• PSIRA Grade C and CIT Firearm competency with business purposes are required.

Job Title: Vault Controller

Key Responsibilities:

• To supervise direct reports within the cash vault services.

• Responsible for maintaining customer vault balances in an accurate manner.

• Responsible for security and operations of the vaults including security.

Essential Qualifications:

• Grade 12 with Mathematics and/or accounting

• Relevant tertiary education would be advantageous

• PSIRA Grade C and CIT Firearm competency with business purposes

Experience:

• 2-4 year’s supervisory experience

• A minimum of 3 years’ cash/vault/CIT operations experience would be preferred

• Experience in handling large sums of cash and coin

• Basic mathematics and reconciliation experience
