Plan.Net CreativeNest South Africa is seeking an experienced UX/UI Project Manager to oversee multiple projects from briefing to delivery. You will coordinate designers, developers and international stakeholders, ensuring timelines, budgets and quality are met.

You will help establish scalable processes, allocate resources and drive collaboration across our global teams, with a hybrid working model based in Cape Town.

• Proven experience in project management within UX/UI, digital design, product development or a creative/digital agency environment.
• Strong understanding of UX/UI design processes and development handovers.
• Experience coordinating multiple projects, priorities and stakeholders.

We are looking for an experienced and highly organised UX/UI Project Manager to join our growing team at CreativeNest.

In this role, you will manage multiple UX/UI and digital design projects, ensuring efficient workflows, clear communication and high-quality delivery. You will work closely with UX/UI Designers, Creative Leads, Developers and international stakeholders to coordinate projects from initial briefing through to final delivery.

You will play a key role in establishing scalable processes, managing resources and supporting the continued growth of our UX/UI capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Management: Plan, coordinate and oversee UX/UI projects from briefing to final delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets and quality expectations are met.
• Resource & Capacity Planning: Manage team workloads, project priorities and resource allocation across multiple projects.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as a central point of contact between internal teams, international agencies and project stakeholders.
• Workflow Coordination: Establish clear project structures, milestones, responsibilities and approval processes.
• Briefing & Scoping: Collaborate with UX/UI Leads and stakeholders to translate project requirements into actionable plans, timelines and estimates.
• Delivery & Quality Assurance: Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and ensure deliverables meet agreed requirements.
• Process Optimisation: Continuously improve project management workflows, tools and collaboration processes.
• Reporting: Provide transparent updates on project status, capacity, timelines and potential challenges.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in project management within UX/UI, digital design, product development or a creative/digital agency environment.
• Solid understanding of UX/UI design processes, including research, wireframing, prototyping, design systems and development handovers.
• Experience managing multiple projects, priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Asana, Monday.com, Figma or similar.
• Confidence in managing timelines, resources, budgets and project expectations.
• Experience working with international teams and stakeholders, ideally across different markets and time zones.
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
