Job summary

SAB Newlands Brewery is seeking an Utilities Instrument Technician to optimize process control systems, support installations, calibrate equipment and sustain plant availability and product quality.

You will troubleshoot E&F and Brewing process controls, provide shift support, mentor operators, and assist with upgrades and maintenance procedures. Requires Instrumentation Artisan with N4/N6 (trade tested) and 2 years’ experience, plus Siemens PLCs, RS Batch and Arcestra knowledge.

Qualifications

• Instrumentation minimum N4 technical qualification, preferably N6 or equivalent.
• Trade Tested Instrumentation Artisan with 2 years’ experience.
• Proficiency in Siemens PLCs, RS Batch and Arcestra.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, healthy, risk-free working environment.
• Troubleshoot process control systems in E&F and Brewing.

Supports the installations of process control systems.
