Job summary

SAB is seeking a Maintenance Controller to ensure effective maintenance plans for equipment and spares. You will manage planned outages, monitor plan effectiveness, and advise the Brewing Area Manager as needed.

The role requires a trade background, N6 qualification, and 3–5 years of engineering management experience. Maltings experience is highly preferred, with safety and teamwork as core values.

Qualifications

• Trade tested artisan or equivalent in electrical/mechanical trade.
• N6 qualification is required.
• Experience managing engineering/maintenance teams.

On the planned maintenance outage, monitor that the plan is effective. Makes recommendations to the maintenance controller, Brewing Area Manager and Brewing Engineer if unforeseen work arises.**Key Roles & Responsibilities:*** Comply with safety, health and environmental procedures and legislation* Maintain safety and housekeeping standards* Locate plant, equipment, spares and relevant documentation / systems* Develop the plan* Tags and work airings from inspection tasks are planned to carry out repairs* Continuously improve (optimise) plans and look for opportunities to reduce the overall planned maintenance outage, whilst ensuring that all required work is carried, and plant is not placed at risk* Communicate effectively in teams and all levels in the plant* Contribute to self and team development* All work is carried out using the VPO principles* Understands, Implements and Complies to the GOP requirements* Sustains what has been implemented**Minimum Requirements:*** Trade tested, qualified artisan, electrician, millwright or similar (must have)* N6 qualification* 3 -5 years management experience in an engineering environment* Proven experience in SAP is required.* Candidates with experience in a maltings environment are strongly preferred.* Must have experience leading a team**Additional Information:**SAB/ABInBev is an equal opportunity employer and all appointments will be made in line with SAB/ABInBev employment equity plan and talent requirements.
