Job summary

FirstRand Bank Limited is seeking a Universal Advisor to deliver compliant sales and service solutions in a high-volume branch environment. You will help customers with banking needs while promoting digital channels and self-service options.

Ideal candidates are customer-focused, ethical, and able to meet service and sales targets in a fast-paced setting. Relevant FAIS/FICA knowledge and strong communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualification: Grade 12/ NQF Level 4.
• Preferred Qualification: NQF Level 5 Certificate in Banking, Business Administration, Customer Service, or related fields.
• 1–3 years of experience in customer-facing environments, service delivery or client support in financial services.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers in a positive and professional manner and meet service targets.
• Identify needs and sell or cross-sell banking products aligned to customer needs.
• Educate customers on digital, e-channels and self-service platforms.
• Process transactions accurately while maintaining compliance with FAIS, FICA and TCF.
• Maintain accurate customer records and manage follow-ups within agreed timelines.
• Stay informed on product offerings, systems and regulatory changes.
