Job summary

Buraaq Mining is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician for mining operations in South Africa. The role focuses on field service and maintenance of heavy equipment, including drill rigs, bolters, LHDs and trucks, with emphasis on TMM rebuilds and OEM-specific repairs.

The ideal candidate will be medically fit to work underground (Red Ticket), hold a Code 08 license, and have reliable transport. Willingness to travel and stay away from home is required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in field service and mining operations.
• Experience with TMM rebuilds and maintenance.
• Competence with service/repair of drill rigs, bolters, LHD, and trucks for OEMs (Atlas Copco, Sandvik, Aard).
• Medically fit to work underground (Red Ticket).
• Valid Code 08 driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform field service and maintenance on mining equipment.
• Repair drill rigs, bolters, LHDs and trucks as required.
• Travel to sites and work away from home.
• Ensure underground safety and compliance during servicing.
