Job summary

Buraaq Mining is seeking a Field Service Technician for work in Benoni, South Africa. The role requires 1-3 years of field service and mining operations experience, with familiarity in TMM rebuilds and maintenance, and service/repair of drill rigs and other equipment.

Candidates must be medically fit to work underground (Red Ticket), hold a valid Code 08 driver’s license, have own transport, and be willing to travel and work away from home.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of field service and mining operations experience.
• Experience with maintenance and rebuilds of trackless mining machinery (TMM).

Responsibilities

• 1-3 years experience in Field Service and Mining Operations.
• Experience with TMM (Trackless Mining Machinery) Rebuilds and maintenance.
• Proven competence and experience in service and repair of Drill Rigs, Bolters, LHD and Trucks for OEM such as Atlas Copco, Sandvik, Aard.
• Medically Fit and qualified to work underground (Red Ticket).
• Valid Code 08 Drivers license.
• Own transport.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel and work away from home.
