Job summary

Fermel (Pty) Ltd is seeking an experienced Aftermarket Contract Manager to oversee the Platreef Mine contract, ensuring delivery of maintenance support, spare parts availability and technical services from Head Office to site.

Based at Head Office but deployed to Platreef Mine as required, you will drive contract performance, customer relationships, financial management and the supervision of site personnel, with a focus on reliability, safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7-10 years' relevant experience in mining equipment maintenance, aftermarket services or technical operations.
• At least 3-5 years' experience in contract management, site management or comparable operational leadership role.
• Experience managing aftermarket service contracts within an underground mining environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee contract execution and compliance with SLAs, deliverables, and performance targets.
• Manage site operations, preventive maintenance planning, and coordination with engineering/maintenance teams.
• Lead customer relationship management and address concerns or disputes professionally.
• Control financial performance, budgeting, labour costs and contract-related expenditure.
• Coordinate Head Office and Platreef Mine activities to ensure seamless service delivery.
