Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher is required.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in Contract Management.

• Hands-on contract administration and management capability.
• Mining industry exposure essential.
• NEC and/or FIDIC experience – essential.
• SAP and MS Office proficiency with strong Excel skills.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
• Commercially focused, highly organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management and administration of mining contracts.
• Ensure contractual terms, obligations and deliverables are interpreted and administered.
• Apply NEC and/or FIDIC principles for notices, claims, variations and changes.
• Evaluate contractor and vendor performance; address non-compliance.
• Review commercial documentation, pricing proposals and payment claims.
• Monitor and mitigate commercial, contractual and procurement risks.
• Assist negotiations, contract amendments, extensions, renewals and close-out.
• Keep contract registers, notices, variations and commercial records up to date.
• Ensure vendor and B-BBEE compliance.

What You Bring:

• Monitor and mitigate commercial, contractual and procurement risks.
• Assist with negotiations, contract amendments, extensions, renewals and final close-out.
• Keep contract, claims, notices, variations and commercial registers up to date.
• Ensure appropriate vendor and B-BBEE compliance.
