Job summary

Red Ember Recruitment (PTY) Ltd in Cape Town seeks a meticulous Payroll Officer to join our client’s team. You will manage full UK payroll processing in a structured environment, ensuring deadlines and accuracy.

You will use SAGE50 (UK) and Morepay, handle RTI submissions, and maintain pension records along with P45, P60 and P11D documentation. This role requires 3–5 years’ UK payroll experience and strong knowledge of UK payroll rules.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience processing UK payroll.
• Experience with SAGE50 (UK) and Morepay.
• Knowledge of UK payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
• Proven ability to meet strict payroll deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process monthly and bi-weekly UK payrolls accurately and within deadlines.
• Maintain employee pension records and payroll information.
• Prepare payroll reports for management and departments.
• Complete month-end payroll activities and reconciliations.
