Key responsibilities include
- Analyze business requirements, user stories, use cases, and project scope documentation.
- Develop comprehensive manual test scripts and test cases for user acceptance testing.
- Maintain a structured repository of test cases aligned to business requirements and rules.
- Execute manual testing activities and validate system functionality against requirements.
- Verify interactions between systems, applications, integrations, and business processes.
- Validate data integrity, user interfaces, workflows, and business rules.
- Analyze test results and identify risks associated with new functionality and system changes.
- Log, track, and manage defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Provide regular progress updates to project and business stakeholders.
- Create user documentation and support handover processes into production environments.
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3 years' experience in software testing, user acceptance testing, or a similar quality assurance role.
- Strong experience creating and executing manual test cases and test scripts.
- Solid understanding of software development and software delivery lifecycles.
- Experience working within Agile, Waterfall, or iterative delivery environments.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience managing defects and test documentation.
- Familiarity with testing and defect management tools such as Jira, Quality Center, Bugzilla, or similar platforms.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
- Passion for quality, attention to detail, and delivering excellent user experiences.
Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification.
