Job description

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements including data mapping, transformation logic, and business rule validations.
• Develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases to validate data accuracy and calculation integrity across the migrated systems.
• Identify test data needs and coordinate test data creation or extraction.
• Execute test cases, perform defect tracking, and report on test progress and quality metrics.
• Verify that system behavior aligns with business rules and expectations, especially in complex or data‑driven applications.
• Offer direction to Automation Specialists by clearly defining and communicating priority tasks.
• Ensure test artefacts and evidence are complete and audit‑ready.

Background and Experience Required

• 3+ years of experience in software testing.
• Strong experience in Test Analysis, particularly involving high‑volume data.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Test Life Cycle.
• Experience with test management tools.
• Experience with testing backend and API applications.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience working in agile or hybrid project methodologies.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders at various levels.
