Qualifications

• Valid Certificate of proficiency as an Able Seafarer Deck or Engine.
• Ability to operate deck/engine equipment safely and efficiently.
• Committed to maintaining safety and hygiene onboard.

Responsibilities

• Safely handle ropes, wires, capstans and other deck/engine equipment.
• Carry out maintenance of deck and engine spaces and perform housekeeping.
• Participate in watch duties, safety drills and berthing operations.
• Maintain records of competencies and follow vessel safety procedures.
