Responsibilities include developing service strategies, monitoring KPIs, maintaining safety standards, and collaborating with sales and parts to grow service revenue.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in service management within automotive or commercial vehicle industry.
• Demonstrable experience in team leadership and staff development.
• Strong understanding of service department operations, repairs, and customer service excellence.
• Knowledge of dealership systems, warranty processes, workshop loading, WIP, and financial controls.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in service management software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement service department strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
• Oversee daily operations of the service department, ensuring timely and quality repairs and maintenance of trucks.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of service technicians and staff, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Monitor service performance metrics and implement corrective actions as necessary to meet goals.
• Build strong relationships with customers, addressing concerns and using feedback for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the service department.
• Collaborate with sales and parts departments to drive service sales and optimize inventory management.
• Manage service schedules, staffing, and resource allocation to meet customer demands effectively.
