Job summary

Motus Toyota Parktown is seeking a Manager: Service to lead the dealership's service department, drive profitability and maintain excellent customer experiences. Reporting to the Dealer Principal, you will oversee budgeting, invoicing, costing and workshop productivity to ensure service excellence.

You will manage cost controls, technician performance, warranty processes and staff development, while promoting Kaizen and high standards of workmanship.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of Grade 12.
• Managerial experience in a Service Department essential.
• Preference will be given to candidate with Service Technician Qualification.
• Must have Toyota training.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must have a clear Criminal Record.
• Leadership and Time Management skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the department achieves budget objectives by continual examination of operating controls.
• Operate the department efficiently.
• Ensure accurate invoicing and job costing.
• Maintain effective control of expenses in line with budget objectives.
• Monitor the effective use of labour by maintaining workshop productivity records.
• Ensure that all outstanding debts are collected expeditiously.
• Establish adequate safety and security procedures to protect property and personnel.
• Promote Kaizen in all aspects of the service operation.
