This work involves operation of large trucks with tandem axles. The incumbent is responsible for safe operation of vehicles. Materials hauled include gravel, dirt, or asphalt. Operation of the vehicle must be within accordance to state traffic laws. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring that preventive and repair maintenance is conducted on the equipment through notification of the employee's supervisor. The incumbent carries out these duties in a manner that does not require continuous and direct supervision by the immediate supervisor.
This is a non-exempt position.
