Job summary

Network Recruitment seeks an experienced Treasury Risk Manager to drive high-impact treasury risk initiatives across the financial services sector. You will lead multidisciplinary teams and oversee end-to-end projects in treasury risk and financial risk management.

The role requires 5+ years in treasury-risk disciplines, with strong knowledge of ALM, FTP, liquidity/capital management and regulatory awareness. Banking, insurance, or asset management experience is preferred.

Are you a Treasury Risk professional ready to take your expertise into a high-impact consulting environment? We’re looking for an experienced Treasury Risk Manager to join a leading Financial Risk Management practice, working across complex treasury and financial risk challenges within the financial services sector.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead the delivery of Treasury Risk and Financial Risk Management projects from end to end
• Advise on treasury frameworks, governance, policies and processes
• Work across liquidity risk, funding risk, cash management and treasury operational risk
• Provide insights across balance sheet management, ALM, FTP, capital management and hedging
• Support intraday liquidity, cash flow forecasting and funding planning
• Work with stakeholders to identify risks, regulatory requirements and opportunities for improvement
• Support the implementation and review of Treasury systems
• Contribute to business development, proposals, thought leadership and market-facing initiatives
• Lead and develop a diverse, multidisciplinary team
• 5+ years’ relevant experience
• Strong experience in Treasury / Treasury Risk / Financial Risk Management
• Exposure to financial services including banking, insurance or asset management
• Strong understanding of corporate treasury operations
• Knowledge of ALM, FTP, liquidity risk, capital management and hedging
• Understanding of the macroeconomic and regulatory environment
• Experience with Treasury systems and post-implementation reviews
• Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills
• B.Com Honours in Finance/Commerce or similar, CA(SA), CFA or equivalent professional qualification
