About the Role

Our client, a major national distributor with a vast network, is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Transportation Manager to oversee their operations in **East London**. The Manager will be responsible for optimizing all aspects of freight transportation, ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and timely delivery of goods across the **Eastern Cape** and beyond. Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of various transportation modes (FTL, LTL, Air, Sea) and their operational intricacies.


• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.


• Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) is essential.


• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to manage a hybrid work schedule, balancing on-site oversight with strategic remote responsibilities.


• Experience in managing carrier relationships and contracts.


• Familiarity with international shipping regulations is a plus.
