Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Transport Operations Supervisor for our East London operations. You will lead a team of drivers, coordinate dispatch, routing, and daily delivery tasks to ensure on-time, compliant logistics performance.

You will monitor driver performance, enforce safety procedures, and collaborate with other departments to optimize mobility and service quality across the Eastern Cape region.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years experience in transportation supervision or logistics management.
• Proven leadership skills managing a team of drivers.
• Strong understanding of transportation regulations, safety protocols, and fleet operations.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in transportation management systems and relevant software.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a relevant tertiary qualification is advantageous.

Responsibilities
