Job summary

Greys Recruitment is seeking an experienced Transport Operations Manager to lead a multi-site distribution operation in South Africa. The role requires 5–7 years of management experience in transport, warehousing, distribution or FMCG and proven ability to manage over 100 staff.

You will oversee shift and people management, health and safety, disciplinary enquiries, contingency planning, cost control and KPI delivery across multi-temperature operations.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 with Higher Grade Mathematics; tertiary qualification in Transport or related field mandatory.
• Honours qualification advantageous.
• Strong computer literacy: Advanced Excel, MS Office, WMS, accounting software; Great Plains advantageous.
