Job summary

Greys Recruitment is seeking an accomplished Operations Manager to lead the Distribution Centre, ensuring safety, efficiency, accuracy, and budget adherence in a high-volume FMCG environment. You will report to the General Manager and oversee receiving, storage, transport and picking across multiple sites.

The role requires 5–7 years in warehousing/distribution, advanced Excel, and strong multi-site leadership within large teams (400+).

Qualifications

• Grade 12 with Higher Grade Mathematics
• Relevant tertiary Diploma / Degree / Qualification
• 5–7 years' relevant experience in Warehousing / Distribution
• Experience in FMCG, QSR or a high-volume environment
• Experience with multi-site operations and teams of 400+ employees

Responsibilities

• Ensure the Distribution Centre operates safely, efficiently, accurately and within budget
• Lead senior management reporting to the General Manager
• Oversee receiving, storage, transport and picking functions
• Drive continuous improvement and safety programs across the site

Key requirements:

As Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring the Distribution Centre operates safely, efficiently, accurately and within budget. This is a Senior Management opportunity reporting directly to the General Manager, with responsibility for the overall performance and well-being of the Distribution Centre's receiving, storage, transport and picking functions.
