Job summary

Bonafide Human Capital is seeking a Traffic Operations Supervisor for the Tshwane/Mpumalanga Transport Operations unit. You will oversee traffic/operational functions, audit services, and coordinate across departments to uphold service standards at a large transport company.

Required: Grade 12, a tertiary Road Transport Management qualification, and 5+ years’ supervisory experience in transport operations. Willingness to work long hours and travel to operational areas is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in handling IR issues.

Responsibilities

• Manage and control all traffic, departmental and operational functions.
• Monitor service through auditing of operations of a large transport company.
• Inter-departmental co-ordination and communication.
• Market services through liaising with stake holders and other official bodies.
• Analyze traffic operational statistics on a daily basis.
• Ensure correct implementation of agreed changes to operation.
• Ensure continuous market research.
• Monitor performance of budget (trends interpretation).
• Control material resources efficiently.
• Monitor subordinates job performance.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• The jobs involve work for six (6) days a week and may require the incumbent to work during public holidays, Saturdays and Sundays.
• The incumbent may be required to work long irregular hours as dictated by the Traffic Operations demand.
• The job also involves long distance traveling to the operational areas.
