Job summary

Qualifications

• Matric or equivalent qualification.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Roles requiring attention to detail and accuracy.
• Problem solving capability and ability to work under pressure.
• SAP Experience and knowledge of Import/Export processes would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Place trade lane orders with Caterpillar and principal suppliers and manage changes and logistics from source to facility.
• Lead KPI reporting for trade lanes, monitor on-time delivery, transit times and costs.
• Ensure timely customs clearance and compliance with trade regulations and documentation standards.
• Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, freight forwarders and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate shipment of goods.
• Manage SAP processes related to order entry and supply chain including material master data.
