Job summary

Clinix Health Group (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Pharmacist Assistant to coordinate end-to-end reception and administrative tasks within the hospital setting, aligning with group quality standards.

The role requires 1–2 years hospital experience and a Basic Pharmacist Assistant Certificate, with computer literacy. SAP experience is an added advantage for stock management and invoicing tasks.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years hospital experience.
• Computer literacy essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist theatre with stock levels by planning orders to maintain minimum/maximum stock.
• Perform cyclic stock counts to minimise stock loss and ensure stock rotation.
• Handle barcoding and packing of surgical items.
• Pick and capture stock issued to theatre and wards; record stock transfers.
• Order, receive and check stock delivered to theatre (excludes Schedule 5,6,7 drugs).
• Pre-plan theatre requirements to ensure stock for after hours and weekends.
• Capture invoices.
