Job summary

Netcare is seeking a Theatre Stock Controller to maintain optimal stock levels across pharmacy and hospital wards, ensuring availability and improved patient service. The role involves KPI monitoring, adherence to stock policies, and supporting multiple hospital divisions based on demand.

The position requires Grade 12/NQF4, basic stock control certification, and experience with SAP and MS Office. Work is on-site across hospital locations, with emphasis on accuracy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must have Grade 12 or equivalent (NQF 4).
• Basic stores/stock control certificate (BSSC) preferred.
• Medical stock knowledge; SAP familiarity advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Monitor stock levels across hospital to ensure availability.
• Support Pharmacy Manager with inventory processes and reporting.
• Maintain FIFO and stock rotation; manage write-offs where needed.
• Generate stock reports: open POs, negative/slow/dead stock, etc.
• Coordinate stock movement between pharmacy, wards and theatre.
