Job summary

Talent Candey is seeking a Junior Sales Merchandiser based in Durban to support the Sales and Merchandising team with customer requirements, product and order administration, and sourcing coordination. The role requires good numeracy, organization, and a proactive attitude in a fast-paced textile manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years experience in sales support or related fields, with Matric and a relevant Diploma or Degree being advantageous but not essential.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years experience in sales support, merchandising or similar commercial environment.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers and follow up on requirements and orders.
• Prepare and coordinate quotations, product information and order documentation.
• Follow orders from placement through sourcing/production to delivery.
• Liaise with suppliers/service providers and internal teams on timelines and actions.
• Monitor order progress and escalate risks or delays.
• Support product sourcing and new product opportunities.
• Maintain accurate sales/order information and basic reports.
• Assist the team in achieving customer service, OTIF and commercial objectives.
