Job summary

Porcupine Union in Gauteng, South Africa, is seeking a Test Analyst to ensure the quality and reliability of critical systems within a fast-paced Agile/SCRUM environment.

You will design test plans from requirements, execute functional, integration, regression and UAT testing across multiple platforms, validate third-party integrations, and help drive automation and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of software testing or quality assurance experience.
• Proven testing experience in the short-term insurance industry.
• Solid understanding of insurance workflows and business processes.
• Hands-on experience in Agile/SCRUM environments.
• ISTQB certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and user stories to design comprehensive test plans and cases.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing across platforms.
• Validate third-party integrations and service provider interfaces.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts and product owners in Agile ceremonies.
• Identify, document and track defects using standard tools.
• Contribute to testing process improvements and automation strategies.
• Support release and post-implementation verification.
