Job summary

Paracon is seeking a Test Analyst to lead testing across multiple projects, ensuring quality, stability, and timely delivery in enterprise environments. You will design test scenarios, craft detailed test cases, plan and coordinate testing activities across multiple projects, and report progress to stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have 5–8 years in test execution and analysis, ISTQB certification, hands-on HP ALM experience, and strong collaboration with business and technical teams to drive

• Proven experience in functional testing.

Responsibilities

• Designing and creating comprehensive test scenarios from business, functional, technical, and industry requirements.
• Developing detailed test cases that validate business and system requirements.
• Planning, coordinating, and executing testing activities within agreed timelines.
• Analysing test results and reporting findings to stakeholders.
• Coordinating and reporting on SIT (System Integration Testing) and UAT activities.
• Managing defects and supporting resolution processes.
• Assisting Automation Test Analysts with automation scripting initiatives.
• Supporting Performance Testing activities and performance scripting.
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders throughout testing lifecycles.
• Preparing test sign-off documentation and test closure reports.

About the Opportunity

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Software Development, or related field
• ISTQB Foundation Certification or ISTQB Test Analyst Certification
• Proven Functional Testing experience

Experience Required

• 5 – 8 years' experience in Test Execution and Test Analysis
• 3 – 6 years' experience in:
• Functional Testing
• Integration Testing
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Test Coordination and Reporting
• Extensive hands‑on experience with HP ALM
• Strong understanding of:
• Test methodologies
• Testing principles and techniques
• Test planning and execution
• Experience working with business and technical stakeholders
• Excellent communication and reporting skills
• Experience participating in end-to-end and industry testing initiatives
