Job summary

Tailormade Solution in Randburg is seeking a Site Supervisor based in Strydom Park to lead warehouse and production operations. You will supervise daily activities, monitor performance, and ensure SOPs are followed to achieve targets.

The role requires 2–3 years supervisory experience in logistics, strong planning, team leadership, and the ability to work shifts, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Matric and 2–3 years supervisory/people management experience in logistics/warehouse.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels and negotiate where required.
• Strong planning, co-ordination, and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of disciplinary procedures and ability to enforce SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Manage, monitor, and improve production/operations effectively.
• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities.
• Attainment of daily operational targets.
• Ensure optimal resource usage and productivity across all areas.
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in daily duties.
• Ensure KPIs are met continuously.
• Perform duties as required by Senior Management.
• Lead supervisory, leadership and managerial tasks.
• Problem solve, negotiate, and address staff challenges.
• Continuously evaluate operations and flag potential problems or opportunities.
• Foster teamwork in the warehouse.
• Escalate incidents requiring warehouse manager/senior management involvement.
• Staff performance management, training, and discipline.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize warehouse operations and meet customer requirements.
• Monitor productivity and discipline staff.
• Staff rostering; daily, weekly and monthly reporting.
• Be prepared to work night shifts.

We are looking to recruit a Site Supervisor based in Strydom Park, Randburg.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Manage, monitor, improve the production/operations effectively

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities

• Attainment of daily operational targets

• Ensure optimal resource usage and productivity across all areas

• Ensure all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are adhered to when executing your daily duties

• Work in a manner that ensures all your KPIs are met continuously

• Perform any other duties as required from time to time by Senior Management

• Supervisory / Leadership / Managerial Tasks

• Problem solve, negotiate, and address staff challenges

• Continuously evaluate the operations and highlight
  potential problems or opportunities identified

• Cultivate a culture of teamwork in the warehouse

• Escalate any incidents pertaining to the warehouse that require theinvolvement and attention of the warehouse manager and/or senior management

Candidate Requirements

Matric

Knowledge of Warehousing - 3 years experience in a logistics/warehouse environment (essential)

2 - 3 Years Supervisory/People management experience

Computer skills on MS Office (Word and Excel)

Knowledge of Disciplinary procedures

Communicate effectively at all levels
