Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Territory Sales Representative to lead sales growth in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga. You will prospect new clients, manage key accounts, and provide technical sales support for industrial equipment across manufacturing, mining, and construction sectors.

The role requires 3–5 years of technical sales experience, a relevant bachelor's degree, and strong communication and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of technical sales experience in industrial equipment or machinery.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Mechanical/Industrial/Business).
• Strong understanding of industrial processes in manufacturing, mining, or construction sectors.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the territory and valid driver’s license.
• Resident in or willing to relocate to Nelspruit, Mpumalanga area.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve territory objectives.
• Identify and prospect new customers in Nelspruit and Mpumalanga region.
• Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction.
• Conduct product demonstrations, technical consultations, and site assessments.
• Prepare and present detailed quotations and proposals.
• Negotiate contract terms and close sales.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities in the territory.
• Collaborate with service and technical teams for seamless customer experience.
• Maintain CRM records of sales activities and pipeline status.
• Attend industry trade shows and events to generate leads.
