Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a motivated Retail Sales Executive for the Benoni area in Gauteng, South Africa. You will drive sales and promote product placement while building strong relationships with store managers and staff across assigned retail accounts.

Ideal candidates have proven retail sales experience, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently with territory travel. A CRM proficiency plus MS Office skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail sales, account management, or a similar sales role.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales goals.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of the retail landscape and consumer purchasing behavior.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and travel within the territory.
• Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets within assigned retail accounts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with store managers, buyers, and key personnel in retail outlets.
• Present and promote products effectively, providing product knowledge and training to store staff.
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify new sales opportunities.
• Ensure effective in-store merchandising and promotional execution according to brand guidelines.
• Process orders accurately and manage account inquiries and issues promptly.
