Network Finance is seeking an experienced Contracts Pursuit Electrical Engineer in Mpumalanga. The role focuses on identifying opportunities, evaluating tender documents and developing competitive technical and commercial submissions for electrical projects.

You will collaborate with engineering, procurement and commercial teams to ensure accurate tenders, timely submissions, and smooth handover of contracts to project teams. A strong technical background and commercial acumen are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires an engineering degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years in electrical engineering, tendering, or project engineering.
• Experience supporting or leading tender submissions and contract pursuits.
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and specs.
• Experience with cost estimation, BOQ preparation and pricing.

Responsabilités

• Identify, assess and pursue new electrical engineering contract and project opportunities.
• Review RFQs, RFPs, ITTs, tender documents and technical specifications to establish project requirements.
• Interpret electrical drawings, engineering specifications, scopes of work and contractual requirements.
• Develop technical solutions and contribute to competitive tender submissions.
• Prepare electrical cost estimates, BOQs and cost breakdowns.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, project management and commercial teams during tender processes.
• Obtain supplier quotations to ensure technically compliant and competitive submissions.
• Identify project risks, deviations, exclusions and commercial opportunities.
• Support contract reviews, negotiations, tenders and client presentations.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors for information.
