Job summary

MPRTC seeks a Tender / Proposals Engineer – Electrical Infrastructure for Meadowdale, Johannesburg. This permanent role focuses on preparing and submitting competitive technical and commercial tenders for substations, transmission lines, and renewable energy projects.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Degree in Engineering with at least 5 years of tender/bid experience, especially in infrastructure, and has strong MS Office, tender management systems, and cost estimation skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering.
• 5+ years’ experience in tender and bid preparation for infrastructure projects.
• Experience with substations, transmission lines and renewable energy projects.
• Proven track record of successful private and government tender submissions.
• Experience in cost estimation, technical proposal development and contract negotiations.
• Strong understanding of electrical infrastructure and construction methods.
• Proficiency in MS Office, tender management systems and cost estimation tools.
• Strong analytical, communication and documentation skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities
