Job summary

IZI South Africa in Welkom is seeking a diligent Cash Centre Teller to accurately count, balance and securely reconcile cash while recording customer data in the system. You will execute daily cash operations, verify holdings and ensure adherence to policies.

Main Purpose of the Position

To accurately count, balance, pack and reconcile customers’ cash efficiently and securely, ensuring full adherence to organisational standards.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

1. Execute daily cash operations

• Accurately count and verify cash holdings
• Complete reconciliation documentation promptly and with precision
• Record customer information on the system using correct referencing
• Comply rigorously with all organisational policies and procedures
• Provide assistance with additional tasks as requested by management

Training and Development

• Complete all mandatory compliance training
• Attend and successfully pass all role‑specific training
• Take ownership of personal and professional development

Risk and Compliance

Strictly adhere to policies governing the counting, packing, balancing and reconciling of cash.

2. Health and Safety

• Contribute to the annual design, review and implementation of departmental safety plans
• Actively participate in safety meetings and briefings
• Report safety incidents promptly to the appropriate personnel
• Engage collaboratively with stakeholders to discuss safety matters
• Follow up on actions assigned through safety meetings or management directives
• Attend regular safety training and refresher courses
