Job summary

IZI South Africa in Welkom is seeking a diligent Cash Centre Teller to accurately count, balance and securely reconcile cash while recording customer data in the system. You will execute daily cash operations, verify holdings and ensure adherence to policies.

The role emphasizes safety and compliance, includes contributing to safety plans, attending trainings, and performing duties under pressure with attention to detail and customer service.

Qualifications

• Cash processing procedures and best practices.
• Basic accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Accurately count and verify cash holdings.
• Complete reconciliation documentation promptly and with precision.
• Record customer information on the system using correct referencing.
• Comply rigorously with all organisational policies and procedures.
• Provide assistance with additional tasks as requested by management.
• Contribute to the annual design, review and implementation of departmental safety plans.
• Actively participate in safety meetings and briefings.
• Report safety incidents promptly to the appropriate personnel.
• Engage collaboratively with stakeholders to discuss safety matters.
• Wear protective clothing when necessary.
