The ideal candidate has 2+ years in network operations, familiarity with monitoring tools like SolarWinds or Nagios, and solid TCP/IP knowledge.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in network operations, monitoring, or a similar technical support role.
• Familiarity with network monitoring software (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios) and concepts.
• Understanding of core networking principles, including TCP/IP, routing, and switching.
• Ability to work shifts, including nights and weekends, as required by the 24/7 operations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network traffic, performance metrics, and system health using established NMS tools.
• Identify, analyze, and respond to network alarms and events in a timely manner.
• Perform initial troubleshooting and diagnosis of network issues, documenting all findings.
• Coordinate with field technicians and engineers for issue resolution and maintenance activities.
• Generate regular reports on network performance, availability, and incident trends.
