Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Telecoms Project Manager to lead network deployment and upgrade projects in Soweto and surrounding areas. The role demands a strategic thinker with a proven track record in managing complex telecom projects from initiation to completion.

You will plan, execute, and finalize initiatives on schedule and within budget, coordinating with internal teams and vendors. A bachelor's degree is required, and PMP certification is highly advantageous for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• PMP certification is highly advantageous.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience managing complex projects within the telecommunications industry.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with budget management, resource allocation, and risk assessment in a project context.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
• Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage project risks, issues, and changes, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
• Oversee the procurement of equipment and services, and manage vendor relationships effectively.
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, meeting quality standards.
