Placements24 is seeking an accomplished Telecommunications Project Manager to oversee complex network deployment projects in Polokwane. You will guide timelines, budgets, and resources, serving as the primary point of contact for stakeholders and ensuring alignment with project goals.

The role requires strong leadership, experience with Agile or Waterfall approaches, and proficiency with MS Project, Asana, or Jira.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related field; PMP preferred.
• 5+ years of telecom or IT infrastructure project management experience.
• Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with project management software (MS Project, Asana, Jira).
• Knowledge of network infrastructure, fiber optics, and wireless technologies is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and finalize telecom projects on time and within budget.
• Define scope, goals and deliverables with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans with resources, scheduling, and risk management.
• Lead project teams and monitor performance throughout the lifecycle.
• Communicate status, risks, and issues to clients and leadership.
• Ensure QA and adherence to industry standards during execution.
