Placements24 is seeking a diligent Telecom Network Administrator to manage and maintain our Soweto-based network infrastructure. You will oversee day-to-day administration, troubleshoot issues, and ensure security and performance of telecommunications systems.

The role requires hands-on expertise with routers, switches, firewalls, and access points, plus strong TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP knowledge and experience with Cisco/Juniper/MikroTik devices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Network Administrator or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
• Hands-on experience with network devices from major vendors (Cisco, Juniper, MikroTik).
• Familiarity with network security best practices and tools.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently.
