Job summary

Time Personnel seeks a technically skilled technician to install, calibrate, and maintain electrical and electronic equipment on local and international client sites. You will diagnose faults, read wiring diagrams, and perform preventative maintenance with a hands-on approach, while ensuring safety standards are met.

The role requires strong problem-solving abilities, physical fitness for site work, and the ability to document service activities accurately. International travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• South African passport essential for local and international work.
• Matric or equivalent; trade qualification or Red Seal.
• Technical qualification such as N4/N6 is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, and maintain electrical and electronic equipment.
• Test, calibrate and verify equipment performance.
• Diagnose and repair technical faults on-site.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections.
• Represent the company professionally on local and international sites.
• Complete technical reports and service documentation.
• Provide technical support during international installations and service projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures.
