Scania South Africa seeks a qualified Diesel Technician to perform high quality repairs and maintenance on heavy vehicles in our Middelburg workshop. You will apply technical knowledge, safety standards and defined processes to achieve reliable, on-time service and customer satisfaction.
You must have Matric or N3 and a Diesel Trade Test, plus a minimum of three years’ workshop experience. The role prioritises teamwork, integrity and a commercial mindset in a fast paced environment.
The main responsibility of the Technician is to perform high quality repairs and maintenance. The Technician’s competencies and a continuous improvement of the technical knowledge and skills in combination with a commercial mind-set, will ensure high level performance and customer satisfaction. Satisfied customers, on time delivery and safety at work is achieved by following defined processes, standards and guidelines. The Technician contributes to Scania’s profitability and safety on our roads.
