Scania South Africa is seeking a qualified Diesel Technician to perform high quality repairs and maintenance on heavy vehicles at our Durban workshop. The role requires a Trade Test Certificate and a minimum of 3 years of workshop experience, with a focus on safety, accuracy, and timely delivery.
You will secure the right information, tools and spare parts, perform work to defined standards, and ensure efficient invoicing and handover when needed. Integrity and compliance are essential.
The main responsibility of the Technician is to perform high quality repairs and maintenance. The Technician’s competencies and a continuous improvement of the technical knowledge and skills in combination with a commercial mind-set, will ensure high level performance and customer satisfaction. Satisfied customers, on time delivery and safety at work is achieved by following defined processes, standards and guidelines. The Technician contributes to Scania’s profitability and safety on our roads.
