Job summary

Scania South Africa is seeking a skilled Technician to perform high quality repairs and maintenance on heavy vehicles in our workshop. The role emphasizes adherence to defined processes, safety standards and a customer-focused approach to ensure on-time delivery and satisfied customers.

The successful candidate will bring a trade-tested diesel technician qualification, Matric/N3, and at least three years of workshop experience with heavy vehicles, ready to work in a structured team and

• Qualified Diesel Technician with Trade Test Certificate.
• Must have MINIMUM of 3 YEARS Experience NOT- NEGOTIABLE
• Previous workshop Experience with repairing and maintaining heavy vehicles

Responsibilities

• Before Maintenance or Repair Event - Secure that right information, tools and spare parts are available
• During Maintenance or Repair Event - Through well-known and described working methods and standards perform maintenance or repair on time in a correct and safe way
• After Maintenance or Repair Event - Secure minimized lead time of invoicing. Through clear description of performed work and/or communicated what needs to be done if the work is handed over to a colleague

Applicant must meet these minimum requirements:
