Job summary

Sarens is seeking a skilled wind turbine technician to support installation and maintenance across Poland and Europe. You will handle major turbine components, perform assembly tasks, and ensure safety and quality on every project.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or ITI in a related discipline from an accredited institution.
  • 3–4 years wind construction experience with any OEM.
  • Understanding of wind turbine components, including electrical pitch systems.
  • Experience supporting installation and MCC (Motor Control Center) activities.
  • Willingness to work weekends, public holidays, shift patterns, or on‑call duties when required.
  • Ability to influence others and lead small teams.
  • Willingness to train and mentor colleagues.
  • Competence in Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) standards.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Ability and willingness to climb wind turbines.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and offload major wind turbine components.
  • Prepare, locate, lift, and install wind turbine generator (WTG) components.

  • Verify tool and material availability before starting work.
  • Participate in toolbox talks and daily team briefings.
  • Report improvement ideas that enhance safety, quality, or productivity.
  • Wear and maintain appropriate PPE at all times.
  • Follow all safety procedures, work instructions, environmental requirements, and statutory regulations.

As a Technician at Sarens, you'll play a key role in supporting renewable energy projects across Poland and Europe. You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and supporting the installation of wind turbine components while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence. Working both independently and as part of Team Blue, you'll help keep critical equipment and projects moving forward. This is a hands‑on position for a technically skilled professional who enjoys solving challenges in demanding environments.

Your Job In a Nutshell


  • Receive and offload major wind turbine components.

You combine strong technical expertise with a proactive mindset and enjoy working in challenging environments. You are comfortable sharing knowledge with colleagues, solving technical issues, and contributing to the successful delivery of renewable energy projects.


Required
