Job summary

Network Finance is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Engineer for the KwaZulu-Natal region to drive sales of valve and flow-control solutions. The role targets professionals with strong hands-on knowledge of manual and control valves and instrumentation within process industries.

You will build and maintain customer relationships, determine technical requirements, and propose long-term, fit-for-purpose solutions across pulp and paper, chemical, and related sectors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience with manual valves, control valves, flow-related equipment or instrumentation.
• Minimum 5 years’ technical sales experience within the pulp and paper and chemical industries.
• Experience dealing with major industrial customers such as Mondi, Sappi, IVS and chemical plants.
• Strong knowledge of industrial valves, actuators, positioners and associated flow-control applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain customer relationships across the pulp and paper, chemical and broader process industries.
• Identify technical requirements and provide fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Engage customers at plant and engineering level to understand applications and sales opportunities.
• Conduct technical sales calls, quotations, demonstrations and client presentations.

An established supplier of specialised valve and flow-control solutions is looking for an experienced Technical Sales Engineer to join its KwaZulu-Natal team. This role is ideal for a technically strong sales professional with extensive experience in manual and control valves, instrumentation or flow-related equipment.

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships, identifying technical requirements and providing fit-for-purpose solutions across the pulp and paper, chemical and broader process industries. The role requires someone who understands both the technical application and the complete sales cycle and can confidently engage customers at plant and engineering level.

Education

• Matric / Grade 12
• Recognised Mechanical or Instrumentation apprenticeship or equivalent technical experience
• N6 or National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering advantageous

Job Experience & Skills Required
