Introduction

We are looking to recruit a Technical Team Lead to form part of the IT Data Management & Enterprise Architect Team in the Group IT department. The role will be based at Clicks Head Office in Cape Town and will report to the Applications Portfolio Manager.

To lead the BI and Analytics team in delivering impactful data insights through dashboards, reports, and publications. This role is business-facing and focuses on enabling a data-driven culture across the organization. It includes the development and deployment of AI/ML use cases, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and stakeholder needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the BI and Analytics team in delivering high-quality dashboards, reports, and data publications.
• Engage with business stakeholders to understand analytical needs and translate them into actionable insights.
• Promote and support the adoption of data-driven decision-making across the organization.
• Oversee the development and deployment of AI/ML use cases in collaboration with data scientists and business units.
• Ensure data visualization best practices and consistency in reporting standards.
• Manage the lifecycle of analytics products from requirements gathering to delivery and maintenance.
• Support data literacy initiatives and training programs for business users.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with AI/ML concepts and implementation.
