Job summary

Synergy Jobs (Pty) Ltd. seeks a Business Intelligence & Analytics Analyst in Kempton Park to transform data into insights across Finance, Sales, Supply Chain and Operations.

You will develop BI dashboards, define KPI scorecards and collaborate with leaders to improve performance through data-driven decision-making. 3–5 years BI/Data Analytics experience preferred, with Power BI and SQL proficiency.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics.
• Experience developing Power BI dashboards.
• Experience working with SQL databases.

• Experience supporting business leaders through data analytics.
• Experience in agriculture, manufacturing or FMCG will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and continuously improve BI dashboards, reports and KPI scorecards using Power BI for decision-making.
• Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, risks and performance drivers across key areas.
• Ensure data integrity by maintaining quality standards and integrating data from ERP, CRM and financial platforms.
• Partner with leaders to translate reporting needs into analytical solutions.
• Design and maintain data integration and automation processes to streamline reporting.
• Monitor and report on KPIs to measure performance against objectives.

Position: Business Intelligence & Analytics Analyst

Location: Kempton Park

PURPOSE OF THIS ROLE

The Business Intelligence & Analytics Analyst will be responsible for transforming data into meaningful business insights that enable informed decision-making across the company and its subsidiaries. The successful incumbent will develop and maintain business intelligence solutions, dashboards and reporting platforms, analyses trends and business performance, and partner with leaders across Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, Procurement, HR and Executive Management to improve business performance through data-driven decision‑making.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• Develop, maintain and continuously improve business intelligence dashboards, reports and KPI scorecards using Power BI to provide accurate, timely and actionable information for operational, tactical and strategic decision-making across the company
• Analyze business data to identify trends, opportunities, risks and performance drivers across sales, finance, operations, supply chain, manufacturing, procurement, inventory and human resources, providing management with meaningful insights and recommendations.
• Ensure the integrity, accuracy, governance and consistency of business data by maintaining data quality standards, validating information and integrating data from multiple business systems, including ERP, CRM, HRIS and financial platforms.
• Partner with business leaders to understand reporting requirements, translate business needs into analytical solutions, develop customized dashboards and support strategic planning and continuous business improvement initiatives.
• Design and maintain efficient data integration and automation processes that streamline reporting, reduce manual effort and improve the accessibility and reliability of business information.
• Monitor and report on key business performance indicators, enabling management to measure organizational performance against strategic objectives and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
• Drive the continuous enhancement of the organization’s business intelligence capability by improving reporting efficiency, adopting new analytical tools and technologies, promoting data‑driven decision‑making and increasing the maturity of business analytics across the Group
