Job summary

FM Staff in Cape Town seeks a Technical Sales Specialist/Sales Engineer who understands industrial electronic process instrumentation, can discuss loops for flow, level, pressure, temperature, and liquid analysis.

This is a consultative, technical sales role representing a global OEM in the Cape Town market, serving mining, water utilities, petrochem, and food & beverage sectors. You will engage with control-room automation teams, PLC/SCADA integrators, and consulting engineers.

Qualifications

Good to great knowledge in industrial electronic process instrumentation.
BEng/BSc/BTech/Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or equivalent.
At least 2 years in this field as a Sales Engineer/Technical Sales Specialist with a proven sales track record; 5+ years preferred.
South African Citizen
Valid Driver's Licence and own vehicle (car allowance and petrol allowance).
No criminal record (verified).
Reside in the Cape Town region with local network in industrial processing/manufacturing.
Fully professional capability in both Afrikaans and English (verbal and written).
